A quick look at George’s LinkedIn profile reveals a history of leadership in the mature marketplace.
In the late 80’s when long-term care insurance was still in its infancy, George began teaching agents about the marketplace while building a successful long-term care insurance division for his family’s IMO.
In 1994, George went west to California and began a new chapter with Long Term Care Group, Inc. where he played a key role in launching the CalPERS Long-Term Care Program. After the CalPERS Program became the largest offering of its kind, George was promoted to V.P. where he applied his marketing expertise against insurance carriers looking to grow their group LTCI business.
In 1999, George returned to brokerage at SFG Annuity Advisors and began teaching advisors how to use fixed annuities in financial planning. During this time, George helped the California Department of Insurance install the nation’s first ever mandatory annuity-training curriculum. His course was the first approved 8-hour course available in the state of California.
Today, George uses his 35+ years of experience to guide SFG’s vision, managing day-to-day operations and helping his team to achieve goals.
George married his wife Janeen in 2003 and has 4 children. In his spare time, he enjoys the outdoors, chasing fish with a fly rod and upland birds with his dog, River.
